Studio philosophy

When exploring creativity, one's interest can sway towards a myriad of directions - it could be beauty, travel, or even news. However, the beauty of the creative process lies within one's unique interpretation of their chosen theme. This is the ethos behind the creation of Studio Reservoir, a haven for creative minds, established by the artist Julia Sophia Neundorf.

We live in such a fast-paced time, in which the digital world determines our being, that we often neglect the core of our happiness. The focus of the project is therefore above all to allow calm and patience to prevail, to create something of our own from within. To trigger the fascination of everything that can be created creatively with one's own hands. To reflect on the small, beautiful things and to give them more value again without developing a competitive spirit regarding the evaluation of the object produced. This is the only way to have an equal and fairer creative exchange with one another and, above all, for one another. A great role model on this topic is Arno Stern, who founded a painting place near Paris. There, old and young come together to paint, away from any expectations or evaluations. The project aims to offer children, young people and adults creative working methods that are helpful for the development and strengthening of their personality: self-education and lavish use of time to observe, illustrate, try out and imitate.

The Studio Reservoir, founded in 2021, is a collective that focuses on sharing artistic processes with creative individuals and providing unknown artists with a platform to exhibit their work for the first time.

Maxim Pritula: A Blend of Primitivism and Art Brut

Maxim Pritulas' artistic work focuses on academic primitivism, a style he developed that incorporates elements of primitivism and Art Brut. His art challenges political, philosophical, and cultural discourses, aiming to stimulate thoughts and emotions through dramatic humor. Learn more about his works on his website, maximpritula.com, or on Instagram at @maximpritula

Alina Naomi: Weaving Tradition and Modernity

Alina Naomi's work is a tribute to the centuries-old art of weaving, which is sadly on the brink of extinction. Her goal is to keep the knowledge alive, pass it down, and reinterpret it through her designs. The result is a collection of jewelry pieces with sculptural surfaces that uniquely blend tradition and modernity, familiarity and foreignness. You can explore her creations at alina-naomi.com or on Instagram at @alinanaomi_jewellery
